We Thought the Global Warming Debate was Over?

The Heritage Foundation writes an interesting tongue-in-cheek article today comparing the difference between Al Gore and the scientists of the world. In Gore’s film An Inconvenient Truth, he states that the debate over global warming is over and a consensus has been reached. Inconveniently for the former Vice President, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, the Christian Science Monitor and the New York Times have all published recent articles that tell us that the debate is not over and that the science is still out on global warming. Some scientists theorize that it may be cheaper to adapt to global warming than to fight it. Others feel that the money used to reduce carbon emissions around the planet could be put to better uses, such as feeding the poor, repairing storm damage or controlling disease. Regardless of the outcome, if global warming initiatives are enacted, prepare for a worldwide economic depressions that the planet has never seen.
