Stop Topping Off Your Tank to Save Yourselves
This is just asinine and an example of more government control over your lifestyles. New Oregon state regulations that go into effect on July 1st prevent owners of gasoline-powered vehicles from â€œtopping offâ€ their tanks. â€œTopping offâ€ a vehicleâ€™s gas tank can cause gasoline to spill and potentially release carcinogens, such as benzene, into the air. New emissions standards in the state hope to reduce benzene emissions by 28 tons per year. Gas station owners criticize the new rules, claiming sales will be hurt.
