A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 44% of American voters think that global warming is caused by long-term planetary trends, up from 35% in July 2006. 41% of those polled blamed global warming on human activity. 59% of Democrats blame global warming on human activity while 21% of Republicans agree with that philosophy. 67% of GOP voters blame long-term planetary trends for global warming with only 23% of Democrats in agreement.
