While comments must be approved before they are visible to the public, I typically don’t hesitate to approve them unless they meet one or more of the following restrictions:
1. Personal attacks are not allowed.
2. Inflammatory language is not permitted.
3. Comment does not contribute positively to the site or the conversation.
4. Comment includes links to questionable material (i.e. to sites with offensive language/nudity/simulated nudity).
5. Comment is seen as spam and contains one or more links to your personal site that may or may not contribute to the topic.
