Emissions trading scheme ‘could damage economy’

New Zealand dairy farmers are concerned that greenhouse gas-cutting measures could hurt the economy. Farmers feel that the increased price of goods due to carbon cuts could allow entry of imports from other, less carbon-friendly countries and force businesses out of New Zealand.
