Carbon Dioxide Could be the Rock of Global Warming

Can carbon dioxide be converted into a more permanent form, like rock? Scientists are attempting to inject carbon dioxide into basaltic rock to convert the gas into a solid. Unfortunately, scientists don’t know how long this process takes.
