It’s funny how speculation really does drive the price of oil skyward.  Having failed to convert the masses to green technologies, I’m sure the environmentalists are pulling their hair out over the second largest dollar value drop in oil today after President Bush ended a ban on offshore drilling.  The move, which still has to clear a hurdle in Congress, sent a clear signal to oil traders that the United States is back and we’re tired of paying $4 or more per gallon of gasoline.  What a proud day to be an American.
