Businesses Now Fighting Back against South Africa Carbon Tax

Just two days after I posted an article on the prospect of South Africa enacting a carbon tax, businesses in the country are already fighting back.  Companies in the country say that they’re already experiencing difficulty in the market due to increasing energy costs and, if those expenditures didn’t already force them to become more efficient, they doubt a carbon tax would do anything to further along the cause.  In addition, businesses are afraid the government won’t spend the additional carbon tax revenue in the most appropriate manner.
