Farmers Fear Ruinous Carbon Tax

In another effort to price food out of the market, New Zealand is attempting to institute a carbon tax on livestock. This would destroy the industry and send meat prices skyward. However, if the measure is implemented, New Zealand would be the first carbon-neutral country. Too bad they won’t be able to afford a hamburger.
