Why sucker a group of individuals once when you can convince that same group of people to buy into your scam over and over again? That’s what could happen if carbon credits become mainstream in the United States and around the world. Carbon credits are fees paid to a governing body to allow you, or a company, to sin. The sin, according to the Book of Global Warming, is to release greenhouse gases into the atmosphere - namely carbon dioxide. So breathe slowly and continue reading. Carbon credits are renewable - just buy more when you’ve exhausted your supply. The problem is, to do anything nowadays, carbon dioxide is emitted into the air. Drive your car? You’ll need carbon credits for that. Use air conditioning or heat? You’ll need carbon credits for that. Breathe? Well, you get the point. So for as long as you are alive, you’re trapped in a perpetual carbon credit-buying scam.
