Oops! Wind Turbines Bad for Your Health

The Oregonian reported on Sunday that living near wind turbines can cause trouble sleeping, equilibrium problems, headaches and childhood “night terrors”.  I suppose clean and renewable are still valid descriptions of wind power, but I doubt we’ll hear an environmentalist add “medically unsafe” to the list.

100% Renewable by 2018? Not Going to Happen in California

A recent report by the California Public Utilities Commission says the California can’t even make its own goal of reaching 20% usage of renewable energy by 2010 or the 30% goal for 2020.  Mr. Gore didn’t stress hydroelectic power in his recent speech, which is where most of California’s renewable energy comes from.
