John Kerry published a piece in the Financial Times yesterday, which was really just a pitch for the Obama campaign. In it, he said the polar ice caps are melting (as they have before this whole climate change scam started), the coastlines are shrinking (some are growing, Senator Kerry) and extreme weather is more common (no, no and no). The former Presidential candidate also said that we need to “put our own house in order.” A question for you, Senator Kerry: will you be more specific? I mean, after all, …

John McCain recycled some 12,000 miniature American flags left over from Barack Obama’s nomination speech last week and gave them to audience members at the Republican National Convention. The flags were discovered in trash bags in and near garbage bins at Denver’s Invesco Field. Democrats say that the flags weren’t being thrown away and were snatched by McCain for political gain. I’d say trash bags full of flags in and near garbage bins is pretty convincing evidence that the Democrats were going to throw them out. With Obama’s supposed concern …

An alleged photo of a bikini-clad Sarah Palin has been circulating the net today and it’s a fake according to this article at Right Wing News. The blog’s owner found the original and shows them both to dispel rumors. However, the really cool thing is that maybe this person wouldn’t be wearing a bikini at all if it weren’t for global warming. So I, for one, blame climate change for whoever faked this photo. In a move to target women and Reagan conservatives, John McCain picked Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his VP running mate. Palin, a first-term governor, is a pro-drilling candidate. Let’s hope this influences McCain’s energy policy and pushes him away from the global warming advocacy he’s displayed in recent years.

While promising tax incentives to families to pay for energy, Barack Obama promised to defeat climate change during his acceptance speech. Isn’t that sort of like defeating your opponent in a shadow boxing match?

The soon-to-be Democratic nominee says he will push hard to curb carbon. Big Government Barack wants to expand the EPA’s authority over greenhouse gas emissions if Congress won’t work out a cap-and-trade scheme to limit the amount of greenhouse gas emissions produced by U.S. companies. Just another big government liberal that wants to take your money folks. If you want more Al Gore in your life, vote for Obama.

Joe Biden had might as well be Even Bayh’s clone with regard to his voting record on global warming and energy policy. Biden voted against an oil-leasing program in ANWR. He voted for banning drilling in ANWR. He voted in favor of establishing greenhouse gas trading allowances. Voted no on funding a nuclear waste repository. Voted yes on factoring in global warming into federal project planning. And voted yes to removing oil & gas exploration subsidies.

MSNBC and CNN are both confirming that Evan Bayh will not be selected as Barack’s running mate. More details and analysis as more is announced.
More Evan Bayh news from Michelle Malkin. Apparently she has connections with someone deep in the political t-shirts biz and this person says that Bayh is the VP pick of Barack Obama. Earlier today I wrote on Evan Bayh’s voting record when it came to issues related to the global warming hoax. See that post here.
