This article is discussing churches in England, but I’m curious how this would work in America - you know, with the liberal mantra “separation of church and state” that, quite frankly, only applies to a government-mandated religious system.  Churches across England are being asked to help fight climate change as one activist said, “Christ the Word of God comes into the world to give life and not death, and our appointed task is to preach this good news to all creation.” Pitiful.  Just pitiful.

Pope Benedict the XVI on Saturday said that we wishes to wake up consciences on climate change and to get people to act more responsibly during this time of great ecological challenge.  The Pope went on to say that he would stay out of the technical and political parts of the debate, only asking that we find a way to ethically change our way of life.

Evangelical Christians are banding together to support the We Get It campaign to turn the tide on the largely one-sided global warming debate. The group wishes to stop the global warming nonsense to help the world’s poor from having basic necessities, like food, taken from them by legislation supporting the global warming hoax.

The LA Times has an interesting article today on Al Gore’s religion of global warming. In it, the author points out that while the Christian Right blamed Hurricane Katrina on New Orleans sexual depravity, Gore chuckled at the notion. However, Gore went on to blame man’s energy sins on Katrina. The article goes on to say that these men aren’t that different.

The global warming myth has infiltrated the minds of bishops in the United Kingdom. The bishops want their parishioners to give up part of their carbon footprint for Lent. Apparently the ecolibs want all of us to eventually return to the days of Jesus - not to experience the Son of Man, but to eliminate carbon dioxide.
