Science had come up with another novel idea to solve the climate change “crisis”: change the color of the sky. The plan is to dim the sky by pumping sulfur into the atmosphere, a process known as solar dimming. This is being touted as a last-ditch effort because climate change is happening so rapidly. I wonder what the color of the sky will be? Green, I’m sure.

Scientists are now considering a proposal to send tiny porous glass particles into the atmosphere in an effort to block incoming solar radiation. The microscopic glass will also work to absorb carbon dioxide. It’s similar to a volcanic eruption said one scientist.

What do Yellowstone National Park and global warming have in common? Both are trying to be controlled by man. Yellowstone had its wolf population eradicated for fear of harm to its visitors and it’s fauna destroyed. What happened? Half of the park was destroyed in a fire. Scientists are now debating the process of fertilizing the oceans with iron to draw in carbon from the atmosphere. The additional iron will spur the growth of plankton-type creatures that will ingest the carbon. The side effects of this procedure are up for debate buy lots of ocean-fertilizing startup companies are waiting in the wings.
It is unknown at this time if the carbon will remain in the ocean.
