Hi everyone, and welcome to the global warming hoax week-in-review.

Monday, June 16th:

While Canada and the United States continue to push for more government regulation over carbon emissions, the socialist country China is doing the right thing:  nothing.  The Chinese government refuses to bow to the global warming activists and is refusing to implement greenhouse gas emissions legislation over fears of stifling their economy.  For once, the socialists are getting it right.  Also, a hat tip to Read More: GlobalWarmingHoax.com for bringing up an article on satellite data of the Arctic from 1980 and today.  It seems the Arctic ice coverage is exactly the same as it was 28 years ago.  You never hear about this in the mainstream media.

Tuesday, June 17th:

I truly feel sorry for the people of Britain.  It seems the British government is doing everything it can to enact laws to stop global warming but this takes it a step further.  It seems ‘eco-towns’ will soon be cropping up in England, where the entire city will be carbon neutral.   Residents will be forced to park their vehicles on the outskirts and walk to their homes.  Oh, and also there will be fines for taking your automobile out of the city limits.  So does this mean the only reason for having a car is to simply park it?  Also, Read More: DailyBayonet.blogs.com did a blog post on Tuesday about the Canadian Automobile Association running a contest for people to demonstrate their most eco-friendly car.  The grand prize is a trip for two to Costa Rica.  Total carbon emissions of the round-trip air fare?  4.5 tonnes.

Wednesday, June 18th:

From the news-that-we-already-new department, a recent poll found that 59% of British Columbians oppose a carbon tax.  This does not bode well for the Liberal party that is currently in control of the Canadian government who continue to push global warming legislation (I’m talking about you, Stephane Dion).  And in what seems to becoming closer to reality every day in the U.S., the high cost of gas could kill off the global warming hoax.  President Bush is pushing to lift the ban on domestic drilling, which would reduce our dependence on foreign oil and drop the price at the pump.  While Democrats are obviously upset about this, they’re going to be more upset when Americans refuse to allow the government to enact a carbon tax, which would drive the cost of gasoline higher.  Bye-bye, global warming myth!

Thursday, June 19th:

A January 2006 report blamed “proof positive” that an infectious disease caused by global warming was reducing the frog population.  A new report published by the Heartland Institute shows that this claim is false and that the researchers glossed over some very basic principles when they compiled their report.   In more bad news for the global warming myth, one million Americans have petitioned the government to drill for oil domestically.  It seems the American people are sick and tired of paying a premium at the pump.  I’m guessing that any attempt to implement a carbon tax in the U.S. will be unsuccessful at least until oil prices return to a more normal price, say, $40 or less per barrel.

Friday, June 20th:

Democrats are taking steps to control refineries in the United States.  It seems the liberal party wants to determine the flow of oil now that the ban on domestic drilling is back on the table.  Expect prices to remain constant even if domestic drilling becomes a reality if the Democrats get their way.  Also, cars sold in California will be required to have a new sticker displaying the greenhouse gas score of the automobile.  The higher the number, the more green the automobile.  I’m sure California can find another way to tax the sale of automobiles using this information.  And I’m sure it won’t take them long.

That’s it, folks.  Enjoy your week!
