Google’s hypocrisy

Sydney, Australia was the first major city to celebrate Earth Hour, a time when buildings went dark and people used candles for illumination. Even Google got in on the act, turning it’s homepage background black as a symbolic gesture of turning the lights out. Unfortunately for Google, they’ve been a little deceitful, having plans to build data centers in countries where, with the exception of one, their main power sources are carbon-spewing power plants.
