(Hat tip to Paul).  Earlier today I covered a Telegraph article describing some exciting new technology that allows for carbon dioxide to be extracted from the atmosphere.  It’s a potential win-win for those of us who want to continue to drive our gasoline-powered automobiles as well as for the environmentalists that see carbon dioxide as the main culprit in the fight against global warming.

As with every solution posed by a non-environmentalist, however, this one too has been dismissed by the climate change crowd.  You think it would be easy.  Carbon dioxide causes global warming, according to Al Gore and the members of his church of climate change.  We must, according to them, reduce our use of fossil fuels which are causing too much carbon dioxide to be pumped into the atmosphere.  In what seems a no-brainer, the carbon dioxide scrubber has the potential to solve the carbon dioxide problem and allow us to continue using our fossil fuel-based products.  Even better, the governments of the world won’t have to make decisions in emergency mode to avert the prophesied global warming crisis.  They may not have to make any decisions at all if these carbon dioxide scrubbers are efficient at removing the greenhouse gas from the atmosphere.  But to the environmentalists, you can equate carbon dioxide scrubbing to nuclear power or any other solution that solves the impending doom caused by global warming because it doesn’t force you to change your lifestyle.  Nor does it force you to pay into their carbon tax scheme or turn back the clock of convenience to 1900 - a time when man-made carbon emissions were a fraction of today’s.  This is absolute proof that the global warming movement is a complete scam designed to increase your taxes and control your lifestyle.  Any viable solution offered to help clean the atmosphere should be welcomed by the global warming crowd.  As with safe and efficient nuclear power, carbon scrubbing isn’t - and it’s not being covered by the mainstream media, either.

I want you to take the next eight minutes and watch this Glenn Beck clip on the new carbon scrubbing technology.  Glenn does an excellent job of demonstrating the usefulness of this device and how the carbon crowd simply refuses to acknowledge what this can do to help solve the coming crisis.  If all solutions aren’t considered, doesn’t that really mean there’s no imminent crisis at all?
