Found this very reminding piece over at Gore Lied’s site (via Tom Nelson’s blog) and it’s the read of the day. It was 20 years ago when the UN’s climate panel said that humankind only had 10 years left to avert climate disaster. Today, Gore says we only have 10 years left. Now maybe my math’s a little rusty, but if 20 years ago it was predicted that we only had 10 years left to avert climate disaster and here we are 20 years later and Gore is predicting it to happen 10 years from now, wouldn’t that be considered an epic failure all wrapped up in fear mongering? I thought so. Just checking.
