Al Gore can’t catch a break these days. After riding a wave of rising global temperatures for the last 25 years of the 20th century, the globe has made an abrupt shift in its climate without intervention from those pesky humans that supposedly cause all the warming in the first place.
The solar wind is now 20% weaker than it was only a decade ago. This permits more cosmic rays to reach the earth’s surface, which creates more clouds that block the sun’s rays and, in turn, cools the planet.
The sun’s magnetic field is now 30% weaker than normal, which also allows more cosmic rays to reach the earth’s surface.
And the multi-decadal oscillation is in full-swing. This oscillation was responsible for warming between 1975 and 2000 and is now responsible for the one degree Fahrenheit average temperature drop observed around the globe. NASA data shows that warming in the southern hemisphere has stopped and ocean temperatures are no longer warming.
