McCain Would Include Al Gore on Climate Change Issues

With many conservatives excited by Senator John McCain’s pick of Governor Sarah Palin for his Vice Presidential running mate for the GOP platform because she appears to be a Washington outsider with true conservative roots, many are in horror of McCain’s stance on global warming.
Speaking with Reuters, John McCain remarked that he would tap ex-veep Al Gore on issues related to climate change, even though he disagrees with Gore on his nuclear energy stance. McCain said that he has great respect for Gore. Suddenly the slam-dunk vote for McCain because of Sarah Palin isn’t looking so appealing now.
