Barack Obama is flying his campaign jet to Hawaii for a vacation, leaving most staffers behind.  However, Mr. Obama says that we can’t drive our cars as much as we want because of global warming.  Much like Al Gore, Barack Obama has proven himself to be a hypocrite on the issue of climate change and shows no leadership, only asking that you, the American people, sacrifice instead.

    This article has no backbone.

Have you looked into Obama’s overall carbon emissions? Did you know that “Barack Obama has said he is paying extra to offset his charter flights…” (Read More: www.theage.com [2007]) Have you looked into his use of carbon credits?

All I ask is that from now on you take the time to get all the facts, rather than call names as a child would.

And Al Gore a hypocrite? Are *you* carbon neutral in both your work and home life? If you can answer that with a truthful YES, then I think you are on the right track. If not, take a peek in the mirror once you get out of that Hummer H2 you probably drive, love, and smile for me.

Here’s the difference between me, Obama and Al Gore: I’m not pushing global warming. I think it’s a hoax. I don’t pretend to be carbon neutral just to jet around the country or have three limousines waiting on me with their engines running in idle.

Again, if Obama truly cared about the environment, he wouldn’t fly at all, or certainly limit the flights. Did he really have to vacation in Hawaii just a couple of weeks ago? Probably not. There is no crisis, else the political figureheads pushing the hoax would show some genuine concern rather than buying themselves out of responsibility.

And, no, I don’t drive a Hummer H2. So I ask you: take time to get all the facts. And I do smile every time a global warming activist visits my site because they can’t defend themselves and, frankly, they’re wrong - no matter how red-faced they get.
