This article is so silly it’s hardly worth my time blogging it. The author is the Green Party candidate for governor of Washington State. He feels Seattle should enact immediate emergency environmental and economic plans to save the planet. Those plans include converting Boeing from an airplane and “war machine”-making company to one that makes renewable energy equipment. Also on the list? Convert all transit systems to using electricity. Also, keep the Seattle Supersonics out of the city and, instead, use the money to build 1000 homeless shelters. My question is this: who’s going to pay for all this? Surely the Supersonics didn’t cost that much.
