There is a shift in scientific paradigm now with global temperatures falling. There’s a real possibility of another ice age, which has the potential to bury east Britain under 6,000 feet of ice. Carbon dioxide emissions may be the ticket to staying out of another ice age, according to Thomas Crowley of the University of Edinburgh and Canadian colleague William Hyde.
