		<description>Yes...well, not that specific article but I've read others on the same topic.  I'm not a vegan and never will be if I can help it.  However, I tend to dispute the vegan claim of a healthier environment anyway - especially if the use of synthetic fertilizers and nitrogen are used.  More vegans = more crops = more water use = more fertilizer manufactured (more fossil fuels used by the factories) = more fertilizer run-off into rivers and streams = more ocean dead zones.

It's six of one and half-dozen of the other in my opinion.
