New Highway Tolls May Replace Carbon Taxes

If this doesn’t prove that global warming is nothing but a scam for your tax dollars, I don’t know what else will convince you.  New Brunswick, Canada is debating the idea of implementing tolls on highways in lieu of a carbon tax.  The article (link below) says that a carbon tax would most adversely affect the poor so, instead, a toll on highways has been introduced as a way to fight carbon emissions.  But won’t all that stop-and-go traffic just waste more fuel and, in turn, emit more carbon?  Where is the common sense?
