Roll ‘Em Back: Kansas Proposes Cutting Speed Limit

The state of Kansas has proposed rolling back speed limits on rural highways from 70 down to 65 in an effort to curb greenhouse gas emissions. The proposal is expected to pass and studies have found that for each five mile per hour reduction in speed will save between seven and 23 percent in fuel.
