Despite the Bush Administration’s refusal to allow for government regulation of greenhouse gas emissions, Senator James Inhofe feels the EPA is too powerful and could put regulations in effect that could kill the economy. Democrat Barbara Boxer said the Bush Administration’s desire to not regulate greenhouse gas emissions presents a “clear and present danger to the American people.” Whoa. Isn’t the economy one of the big talking points of the Democrats in this country as they try to weasel themselves into the White House later this year? Regulating carbon emissions in this country would wreck the national economy and would present a more significant danger to the American people already having to deal with a reduced workforce and bullish market.
