Global Warming Causes Glaciers to Grow
Global warming is now causing glaciers to grow, according to this article at Read More: NewsBusters.org. Simply laughable, I say. Now think back to all of the tall tales spun by Al Gore and his global warming crowd. Global warming causes floods, drought, increased hurricanes, increased tornadoes, unbearable heat and an intensity of storms.
I’ve said time and time again on this blog that the planet simply isn’t cooperating with the global warming movement. The environmentalists say the poles are melting, and Antarctica puts on a record ice growth show. They say the Arctic ice could be completely gone by this summer and we learn that there’s only been a 5% decrease in Arctic ice over the last 28 years. While there is some recent news that the NASA GISS data was manipulated to show a warming trend when, in reality, a natural cooling trend was clearly visible, I suppose the folks over at the space agency are still honing their Photoshop skills as satellite images clearly show ice growth in Antarctica and minimal ice loss in the Arctic.
So what do we have here? A conspiracy and not, as Gore would like us to believe, one that involves a flat Earth or a faked moon landing in 1969. There are too many news items that don’t add up in the world of global warming. Just as polar ice isn’t being shed at the alarming rate described in the mainstream media, we now have evidence that glacial ice in Mount Shasta in California is growing. Either the whole world is doomed, or it’s not. But let’s use the liberal logic against itself to make our point.
Many global warming blogs skeptical of climate change report on record low temperatures and record high levels of frozen precipitation, mine included. All of those reports, however, are written off by the global warming alarmists as being regional anomalies - blips on the climate change radar, if you will. To understand global warming, they say, you have to look at the entire planetary picture. I have looked at the entire picture and, quite frankly, I fail to find any evidence that supports anthropogenic climate change. Major hurricanes are down since 2005 when Katrina was blamed on global warming (a regional impact, by the way). Anthony Watts recent study on global temperature and tornadoes proved that they increase in numbers during periods of cooling, not warming. Flooding in the midwest United States was blamed on global warming, yet it’s a regional effect. Earthquakes of increasing intensity were recently blamed on global warming by Dr. Tom Chalko before later being retracted. The climate change fear mongerers have to pick a position but they continue to straddle the fence, blaming strange weather events on our greenhouse gas emissions that have led to climate change. But, as with the liberals before them, the environmentalists have no real definition of truth. It’s relative and based solely on whatever moves their agenda forward. With the news of this glacial growth being blamed on global warming, you now have proof that they’ll do whatever it takes to further the agenda. Whether it’s regional events that only support global warming or global phenomenon that only support their cause, the activists are only interested in one thing: convincing you of their lie.
