Although I am a Mac convert from early 2006 with my first Intel-based iMac and several additions to the Mac family over the years, I’ve always been dismayed at Al Gore’s presence on the board of directors at Apple. Nonetheless, I love my Mac, even if Apple is buying the green movement. There’s even a new update to System Preferences. The old energy saver icon that was depicted by an incandescent bulb has been replaced by a CFL bulb. Just be careful if you drag it to the trash on your dock - you don’t want the mercury in the bulb to leak.
