Change Your Roof to Save the Planet

Installing white roofing materials instead of the traditional brown, gray or black, will help in the fight against global warming, according to the LA Times. (Note: after repeated attempts to rename this man-made crisis “climate change”, one of the country’s largest newspapers continues to refer to it as global warming.) Lighter materials reflect heat better than dark materials. The LA Times might be on to something here. Maybe we could repave all roads with a lighter material so that we wouldn’t have to give up meat or change our light bulbs? Brilliant!
