In 2006, The Guardian predicted an uncertain future for ski resorts as climate change cause warmer winters. Just yesterday, The Independent reported that the ski industry expects a boom as cold air sets in. And Michael Bennett, a tour operator of Ski Independence said that 2007 was a “stellar” year. Not only can climatologists not accurately predict climate, but it seems the media also has a similar affliction.
