New Grass to Cut Methane in Livestock Flatulence

While this hasn’t played out exactly as I predicted, science is indeed moving forward with bio-engineered technology to cut methane levels even, as this article describes, methane levels have stabilized - and scientists aren’t sure why. This new genetically-engineered grass will reduce the amount of methane gas from the backsides of livestock. Although methane levels have stabilized after a two-decade study found that they had risen up to 1998, I’m not quite certain why funding has continued.
