Al Gore Says Climate Change ‘Significantly Worse’ than Feared

The former Vice President, who lost the 2000 US Presidential election to George W. Bush, said Thursday that climate change is worse than feared and that the Arctic ice caps may disappear completely during the summer in five years. He did not, however, address the inconsistencies found in his film, An Inconvenient Truth, nor did he discuss how ice is growing on three sides of Antarctica and that the Arctic ice is experiencing record refreeze.
