Determined to sway the population back into believing in his highly-touted global warming scam, Al Gore appeared on 60 Minutes last night and laid out his $300 million ad campaign aimed at telling the world just how important it is to save the planet.

During the interview, Gore remarked, “…we have to awaken to the moral duty that we have to do the right thing and get out of this silly political game-playing about it. This is about survival.”

Please don’t push your morality on me, Al Gore. Your political party won’t let anyone else push their morals on the populace, so why should we afford you special rights?

What other moral duties are required of this country, its people and its government? How about low-cost fuel and electricity for heating homes? What about getting food prices down to what they were before ethanol became a fuel alternative? And what about not taking my hard-earned money to pay for this new Earth Tax - you know, the one that I pay every time I buy an ear of corn that 30% more than it was this time last year? The gasoline I buy every summer that’s more expensive due to the special blends needed in various parts of the country or the gasoline I buy that’s $3.50 per gallon because you and your ilk won’t let anyone drill for oil in ANWR or on the continental shelf? Frankly, Mr. Gore, I feel you have missed the point on morality. Stop taking money out of our collective pockets to pay for your hobby. It is our money, after all.
