In a move to target women and Reagan conservatives, John McCain picked Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his VP running mate.  Palin, a first-term governor, is a pro-drilling candidate.  Let’s hope this influences McCain’s energy policy and pushes him away from the global warming advocacy he’s displayed in recent years.

Joe Biden had might as well be Even Bayh’s clone with regard to his voting record on global warming and energy policy.  Biden voted against an oil-leasing program in ANWR.  He voted for banning drilling in ANWR.  He voted in favor of establishing greenhouse gas trading allowances.    Voted no on funding a nuclear waste repository.  Voted yes on factoring in global warming into federal project planning.  And voted yes to removing oil & gas exploration subsidies.

MSNBC and CNN are both confirming Bayh to not be Obama’s pick for Vice Presidential candidate. Guess we’ll have to wait until Barack sends out the text message tomorrow.
Evan Bayh, the expected Vice Presidential candidate pick of Barack Obama, has a very pro-global warming anti-energy independence record in the US Senate. From voting against drilling in ANWR to voting for removing subsidies for gas and oil exploration efforts, expect more global warming nonsense if elected. Bayh also voted against …

The Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge, ANWR, is where some in the U.S. want to drill for oil.  However, environmentalists completely oppose the idea, citing damage to the environment and the animal population.  Bud Simmons of the Global Warming Hoax has some nice photos here of where ANWR actually resides, what it looks like and some comparison photos of other domestic drilling sites to show how the animal population continues to thrive in the area.  More lies from the environmentalists.

Commentary, Global Warming Hoax Lead Story »

While many on the environmental left continue to sing the praises of Al Gore and his global warming hoax, those of higher intellect have abandoned the myth.  As with many great left-leaning government tax-and-control schemes, even though the supposed crisis is over, supporters still feel the need to continue pushing legislation to fight global warming.  After all, it’s about control and greed.  Here are some of the ideas I’ve gathered from liberal hubs around the internet after accepting that global warming is a myth:
1.  Pollution is still bad.  Yes, pollution …

Welcome, everyone, to the weekly global warming hoax news round-up.
Sunday, April 27:
In a very inconvenient truth for global warming activists around the globe, it was revealed that 30% of our corn crop goes to the production of ethanol.  To give a representation of the inefficiency of corn-based ethanol, it takes 450 pounds of corn to fill a 25 gallon fuel tank.  I’d call that inefficient.  As if that level of inefficiency wasn’t scary enough, the global warming crowd is scaring us back into the stone age.  The public’s fear of …

Carbon Tax »

[30 Apr 2008 | No Comment | 8 views]

This is just silly. McCain wants to eliminate the gas and diesel taxes during the summer driving season. Hillary wants to do the same but make the oil companies pay for it (read: wealth redistribution) and Obama? He doesn’t agree at all. However, what is agreed upon is the institution of a cap-and-trade system that will cost you more at the pump. A cap-and-trade system will force utilities to buy carbon credits for …

Determined to sway the population back into believing in his highly-touted global warming scam, Al Gore appeared on 60 Minutes last night and laid out his $300 million ad campaign aimed at telling the world just how important it is to save the planet.
During the interview, Gore remarked, “…we have to awaken to the moral duty that we have to do the right thing and get out of this silly political game-playing about it. This is about survival.”
Please don’t push your morality on me, Al Gore. Your political party …

Having managed this blog for a few months, I felt it was time to expound on my obvious belief that global warming is a hoax.
My desire to start this blog came from the barrage of news reports that the world would flood and millions killed all because of global warming. However, despise Al Gore’s best efforts to convince me and the rest of the world that there was a scientific consensus, I realized that global warming wasn’t an open-and-shut case; the issue was becoming political, and when politics is …

When President Bush proposed drilling for oil in ANWR, the Dems shot it down. When new refineries need to be built, it’s shot down. When nuclear plants are suggested, it’s shot down. How can we have energy independence without any of these things?
