A Climate Crisis A La Gore
This week I conclude my interview with Paul Spite, author of A Climate Crisis a la Gore.
Don’t forget - as a special bonus to readers of Skeptics Global Warming, Paul has graciously agreed to give away a free signed copy of his book, A Climate Crisis A La Gore, to one lucky person.  To enter yourself in the random drawing, simply leave a comment at the end of this week’s or last week’s article. One random commenter will be chosen on Tuesday, November 4th.  Leave …

After lambasting the WWF during the last couple of weeks over being a bunch of hypocrites, my post grabbed some attention by someone defending the actions of the WWF.  Apparently, the WWF’s trip-of-a-lifetime for 88 people with cash on a jet to exotic places around the world isn’t exactly hypocritical.  Even if one person on that trip sees what animal species can be saved by conservation, it will be worth it.  But just how many pounds of carbon dioxide will be emitted by that jet during the trip and just …

Al Gore is booked for an engagement at Harvard University on Wednesday of this week for the first University Celebration of Sustainability.  This is the launch of Harvard’s new environmental/green/conservation/cut greenhouse gas initiative.  Speaking of conservation, Al Gore is set to speak in Portland, Oregon this week at a fundraiser for Jeff Merkley, who is running for the Senate.  Just how many pounds of carbon dioxide is Gore going to emit this week traveling back-and-forth across the country?  Well, maybe he’ll learn the true meaning of conservation at the Harvard …

Recently, I posted an article on how glaciers are now growing in Alaska all thanks in part, I’m sure, to global warming that just seems to cause everything now whether good or bad.  However, TigerHawk has some key information here on just how long glaciers in Alaska have been melting.  Turns out we’ve only been pumping carbon dioxide into the atmosphere for close to one hundred years - and that’s a stretch, but glaciers in Alaska have been melting for 200 years.  Man-made global warming?  Farce.

Obama is set to declare carbon dioxide an atmospheric pollutant should he become President, according to the Bloomberg article linked up on on Anthony Watt’s blog.  Barack wants to use the 1990 Clean Air Act to set emissions limits and regulate carbon dioxide emissions.  For those that missed it the first time, Barack Obama has vowed to defeat climate change and certainly has his opinions on energy.  In case you’re curious about his Vice Presidential pick Joe Biden, you can read up on his global warming voting record and read …

Even when climate change can be beneficial, say, because increased carbon dioxide increases crop yield, all news carried by environmentalists is bad.  Anything having anything to do with global warming is bad, period.  There are no positive aspects of a little more warmth and there are no positive impacts to the planet.  None.  Zilch.  Zero.  Nada.  Everything is getting worse every day - and it’s usually reported that things are worse than predicted.  If climate models are so accurate in the prediction of global climate, and things are worse than …

Watch where you step and keep tugging at your pants fellow skeptics. If the alarmists have their way, your leather belt and shoes will be a thing of the past. Cows are sources of methane, a greenhouse gas more potent than carbon dioxide. And for you beer enthusiasts out there, a six pack will run you seven pounds of carbon. Will that be cash or charge?

Dr. Roy Spencer spoke in Houston on Tuesday to dismiss claims of anthropogenic global warming. He said during his speech that the IPCC models are clearly wrong. Results of ice core studies are in direct opposition to the theory espoused by Al Gore, who believes that carbon dioxide drives temperature. Spencer said temperatures precede carbon dioxide levels by 800 years.

Researchers from the University of Chicago, searching for dinosaur remains in the Sahara desert, came across human graves, the remains of crocodiles, large fish and animals dating back 8,000 to 10,000 years. What were fish and crocodiles doing in the middle of the desert? The obvious answer is that the Sahara was once inhabitable. But where were the anthropogenic sources of carbon dioxide that caused the massive climate shift and made the Sahara what it is today?

Former Vice President Al Gore, unconcerned with massive media reports that methane, a gas 20-25 times more potent as a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide, is a factor in global warming, continues to eat meat even when scientists continue to blame livestock as a major source of emissions.  Watch the 10-minute Glenn Beck video below to get a perspective on how many of those who support the theory of global warming - McCain, Hillary, Gore - all seen in pictures, simply won’t modify one of the most basic elements of …
