The Al Gore co-founded “Current TV” television broadcast network laid off 60 staff members last night and released a statement that the network would use more viewer-generated content, giving its audience a greater opportunity for participation. Giant panda bears are threatened thanks to global warming. Well, the actual bears aren’t being threatened but their food supply is. Scientists think. Or not. Giant panda bears’ primary food is bamboo. Lots of it. And climate change is threatening to redistribute plants, like bamboo.
