Great graphic from Gateway Pundit (link below). In addition to news of Barack Obama considering Al Gore for Climate Czar, the October-November temperature ranks graphic for the United States is shown. Must of the country is either near normal or below normal. With two straight years of global cooling, the timing of Obama’s election to the Presidency is perfect for the global warming movement as they now have all of the administration in place to enact tough climate change policies and increase our tax dollars, even when …

The Al Gore co-founded “Current TV” television broadcast network laid off 60 staff members last night and released a statement that the network would use more viewer-generated content, giving its audience a greater opportunity for participation. Sounds like Gore is going with the free labor approach rather than paying someone for their work.

Proponents of global warming activism have predicted many places to be underwater due to rising sea levels caused by man-made greenhouse gas emissions. The Maldives are no exception. The islands are slated to be covered in water by 2100 if the upper-end of the IPCC’s predictions about sea-level rise are true; the IPCC predicts that sea level could rise anywhere from 3.5 to 35 inches by 2100. But other research indicates that sea level hasn’t risen at all over the last decade. Present sea level was …

Botanist and well-known face of the British Broadcasting Corporation David Bellamy has had his career go down the tubes, thanks to a comment he made and a myth he didn’t believe. Bellamy refused to tow the BBC’s company line on global warming and has now been out of the spotlight for 10 years. Said Bellamy in the article below, “The sad fact is that since I said I didn’t believe human beings caused global warming I’ve not been allowed to make a TV programme.” We’ve all heard …

(H/T: Heliogenic Climate Change). Just as temperatures have falled over the last decade across the globe, much can be said for hurricanes. With what appears to be a peak in 1992 and again in 1998, hurricanes have dropped off precipitously since just three years ago. So much for the increase in ravaging storms because of global warming. Will we hear about this in the media? Not a chance.

Surely this is a hoax, but worth the chuckle. Al Gore’s new online presence debuted yesterday, a day after Barack Obama became the president-elect of the United States. Gore’s “An Inconvenient Blog” has an about section on the first page with his photo and quick summary of his achievements. Those achievements? Inventing the Internet and global warming. This must be a joke. I thought the real Al Gore called it “climate change” or the “climate …

Someone report the media. After predictions of an above average season in terms of strength and numbers (see my post from April of this year), it quite frankly hasn’t materialized. The doom-and-gloom carriers of the global warming hoax in the media have blamed climate change on increasing storms and intensity, but once again their predictions have failed to come to fruition. The mainstream media won’t report on this latest finding either because it doesn’t fit their agenda or it won’t give them a ratings bump. Either …

Brandon Keim from Wired thinks that the 60 degree temperature day in New York is caused by global warming. The average high in New York for day? 57 degrees. Yup. That’s climate change alright.

Giant panda bears are threatened thanks to global warming. Well, the actual bears aren’t being threatened but their food supply is. Scientists think. Or not. Giant panda bears’ primary food is bamboo. Lots of it. And climate change is threatening to redistribute plants, like bamboo. And while this may be a concern, scientists also found that global warming increases some bamboo types. The moral of this story? Nobody really knows anything yet.

On a tip from Climate Change Fraud: Author Michael Crichton is dead at 66 after waging a private war on cancer. He is the author of many best-selling books, including Jurassic Park, its sequel The Lost World and, finally, State of Fear, where he wrote on a warming world but was skeptical of extreme global warming scenarios. Crichton graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College and received his MD from Harvard Medical School.
