Researchers at Perdue have found a way to make LED lighting more efficient to manufacture with the ability to reduce energy use by one-third without that annoying CFL flicker and poisonous mercury. Let’s hope this technological breakthrough won’t get hammered by the environmentalists like the new carbon dioxide scrubber.

Global Warming Hoax Lead Story, Indoctrination »
Global warming is now causing glaciers to grow, according to this article at Read More: NewsBusters.org. Simply laughable, I say. Now think back to all of the tall tales spun by Al Gore and his global warming crowd. Global warming causes floods, drought, increased hurricanes, increased tornadoes, unbearable heat and an intensity of storms.
I’ve said time and time again on this blog that the planet simply isn’t cooperating with the global warming movement. The environmentalists say the poles are melting, and Antarctica puts on a record ice growth show. They say …

Welcome everyone to the global warming hoax week-in-review!
Monday, June 30:
It seems that no matter how hard the environmentalists try, they just can’t get the planet to work in their favor. The new highly-touted greenhouse gas methane, which is 24 times more powerful than carbon dioxide, seems to be leveling off in the atmosphere. With all the Arctic ice melting away, we were supposed to see drastic increases in methane. It’s just not happening. Also, the Netherlands has instituted an airline tax in the name of global warming for all flights …

Hi everyone and welcome to the week-that-was in global warming hoax news! I hope everyone took a moment to visit or remember their father on this Father’s Day in the U.S.
Sunday, June 8th:
When you think of socialism, do images of China and the former Soviet Union come to mind? Believe it or not, it’s slowing coming to the United States as environmentalists push for more control in government. The recently defeated Lieberman-Warner bill debated in the U.S. Senate is one example where environmentalists are pushing their agenda for control through …

Welcome everyone to the week that was in global warming news.
Sunday, June 1:
Hurricane forecasters have predicted a very active season for hurricanes with 15 tropical storms, eight hurricanes and a 69% chance that one will strike the U.S. mainland. This hurricane season is predicted to be 160% of average. I’m glad that they’re usually wrong.

In more name-calling from the liberal left, a bishop with the Church of England has equated global warming deniers with the Austrian father that held his daughter captive for 24 years, repeatedly raping her …

Prince Charles announced that the world has a mere 18 months left to fix climate change before the planet experiences a series of natural disasters. I didn’t realize Charles had an interest in global warming affairs …

Good morning, folks, and welcome to the Global Warming Week-in-Review.
Sunday, May 11th:
10ksnookers.blogspot.com provided some interesting commentary on carbon credits and the cap-and-trade system, saying that it’s just a government-sanctioned ration on goods and services? How? Both systems limit the total amount of greenhouse gas that can be emitted into the atmosphere, which results in a limit of how much of a good or service can be produced without going over that limit. Remember the gas lines of the 1970’s? If this keeps up, expect to see lines for more than …
Methane »
While this hasn’t played out exactly as I predicted, science is indeed moving forward with bio-engineered technology to cut methane levels even, as this article describes, methane levels have stabilized - and scientists aren’t sure why. This new genetically-engineered grass will reduce the amount of methane gas from the backsides of livestock. Although methane levels have stabilized after a two-decade study found that they had risen up to 1998, I’m not quite certain why funding has continued.

Welcome, everyone, to the weekly global warming hoax news round-up.
Sunday, April 27:
In a very inconvenient truth for global warming activists around the globe, it was revealed that 30% of our corn crop goes to the production of ethanol. To give a representation of the inefficiency of corn-based ethanol, it takes 450 pounds of corn to fill a 25 gallon fuel tank. I’d call that inefficient. As if that level of inefficiency wasn’t scary enough, the global warming crowd is scaring us back into the stone age. The public’s fear of …

Operation Desperation Update: fearing that their number has been called in the “planet-is-warming-and-we’re-all-gonna-die” predictions, mostly because the planet is now expected to cool for the next 10 years, the global warming activists are at it again. This time they’ve discovered a vast area of ocean off the coast of India about 500 meters deep where nothing is growing - a vast underwater ocean desert. The purported cause of this calamity is a lack of oxygen in the water; it’s “hypoxic” if you want to get technical, and nothing can survive …
