Commentary, Global Warming Hoax Lead Story »

While many on the environmental left continue to sing the praises of Al Gore and his global warming hoax, those of higher intellect have abandoned the myth.  As with many great left-leaning government tax-and-control schemes, even though the supposed crisis is over, supporters still feel the need to continue pushing legislation to fight global warming.  After all, it’s about control and greed.  Here are some of the ideas I’ve gathered from liberal hubs around the internet after accepting that global warming is a myth:
1.  Pollution is still bad.  Yes, pollution …

Good morning, folks, and welcome to the Global Warming Week-in-Review.
Sunday, May 11th:
10ksnookers.blogspot.com provided some interesting commentary on carbon credits and the cap-and-trade system, saying that it’s just a government-sanctioned ration on goods and services?  How?  Both systems limit the total amount of greenhouse gas that can be emitted into the atmosphere, which results in a limit of how much of a good or service can be produced without going over that limit.  Remember the gas lines of the 1970’s?  If this keeps up, expect to see lines for more than …

In what appears to be a food topic day on Skeptics Global Warming, more news from the PETA wanna-be’s: eating vegetables one day per week, instead of beef, would be like driving 1160 miles less in your car. While everyone is up in arms about dropping beef from our diets, is anyone concerned about the possibility of some very anemic people walking around as a direct result of their self-induced vegetarian diet?

Welcome, everyone, to the weekly global warming hoax news round-up.
Sunday, April 27:
In a very inconvenient truth for global warming activists around the globe, it was revealed that 30% of our corn crop goes to the production of ethanol.  To give a representation of the inefficiency of corn-based ethanol, it takes 450 pounds of corn to fill a 25 gallon fuel tank.  I’d call that inefficient.  As if that level of inefficiency wasn’t scary enough, the global warming crowd is scaring us back into the stone age.  The public’s fear of …

Oh those pesky facts.  The environmentalists love to point out which scientist said what in their never-ending quest to prove the global warming deniers wrong.  But, for a change, I’m going to agree with the climate change science.  I’m going to agree that, according to science, climate change was responsible for the death of large mammals, including wooly mammoths.  I agree with it because humans weren’t around at that time pumping carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.  We weren’t constructing factories with billowing smoke stacks.  And we weren’t driving gas-guzzling automobiles …

This is just silly. McCain wants to eliminate the gas and diesel taxes during the summer driving season. Hillary wants to do the same but make the oil companies pay for it (read: wealth redistribution) and Obama? He doesn’t agree at all. However, what is agreed upon is the institution of a cap-and-trade system that will cost you more at the pump. A cap-and-trade system will force utilities to buy carbon credits for …

Ethanol’s E85 blend causes about a 25% reduction in fuel economy, forcing you to pay more at the pump. Another brilliant move brought to you by the global warming hoax. Happy driving!

PheistyBlog provides some insight into how she’s accosted by green images throughout her day and provides a list of global warming sins dictated by the Church of Climate Change.  Top of the list?  Driving an SUV, not recycling and using incandescent bulbs.

Disputing Global Warming, Global Warming Hoax Lead Story »

I’ve referred to Operation Desperation in a few of my posts and, while my inspiration comes from Rush Limbaugh’s Operation Chaos, it’s meant as an umbrella under which various actions of the green crowd can be grouped as signs of desperation. The global warming activists are losing a stranglehold on the people of the world, and they have the Internet and talk radio to thank for it.
I recently reported on an article that said only 20% of the big four’s news reports contained the skeptical side of global warming. …

The global warming activists are in trouble. This time their plan to save the world has crossed into the path of the mainstream media and they are sitting up to take notice.
Time Magazine reported on the clean energy myth and explored the possibility that it’s the climate change crowd and their biofuel “solution” that’s driving up food prices. Now that I, and many other skeptic blog owners have reported the problem, the press is picking up …
