Global Cooling »

New evidence shows that there’s a possible correlation between sunspots and temperature here on Earth. The bad news for the ecolibs is that sunspots are at a minimum and there’s some serious concern about global cooling and even a small ice age.
In another blow to science, a forecast made two years ago about a significant increase in sunspots failed to materialize. I’d have so much more respect got science if it stopped trying to be the absolute …

For years we’ve been bombarded with the left’s claim that they are for the people. They invent social programs to help the poor. They increase spending on existing programs to help those less fortunate. With global warming in their sights now, however, it’s less about people than purpose. Take Vermont and their malaria problem, all supposedly caused by global warming. Instead of attacking the problem directly, the ecolibs would rather change the entire planet …

Name-Calling »

Ah the loony left. All of us in the conservative base have been calling attention to the fear mongering by the environmentalist left for some time. Now the old addage, “if you can’t beat them, join them” rings true. Sensing that their global warming push is going nowhere, the ecolibs have resorted to more name-calling. I guess originality isn’t their specialty.

Biofuels are once again proving to be the achilles heel for the vast left-wing environmental conspiracy. From Read More: Carectomy.com, nitrogen-rich fertilizer is being carried to the Gulf of Mexico from farmlands in the midwest United States. This fertilizer is spurring the growth of algae, which is reducing the water’s oxygen levels to such a point that no marine life can exist. The main culprit is corn - a food staple - but the problem is projected to get worse due to the mandate by the Bush administration …

Thanks to the environmentalists in this country, corn prices have soared to record levels - reaching $6.025 a bushel before backing off slightly to settle at $6.00. The soaring price of corn, up 30% this year, is due to dwindling supply thanks in part to the global warming activists in this country who have pushed the ethanol craze. Even though ethanol has been found to be more harmful to the environment, these ecolibs continue their push in an effort to save the planet.
In a funny global warming twist …

The ecolibs are sponsoring Fossil Fools Day on April Fools Day. This
event will see protests at energy companies, banking centers and
developers. Green jobs and bicycle riding will be prominent features
of the event, outside of the protests, of course.

From the “ecolibs screwed it up again” department, ethanol could pour twice as much CO2 into the atmosphere as regular gasoline. So now the environmentalists have not only made the planet worse, they’re jacking up the cost of food to compensate for it.

Fox & Friends provided coverage of the global warming conference in New York this week. Unfortunately the ecolibs are crying foul and saying that Fox News is biased. I don’t see any other networks covering this.http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Fox__Friends_promotes_global_warming_0303.html

The ecolibs’ push for ethanol-based fuel has had a nasty consequence: food prices have soared and emergency food relief to poor countries will suffer as a result. This tells me that the planet is more important than food and certainly more important than people.http://collectingmythoughts.blogspot.com/2008/03/grain-into-gas-tanks-for-global-warming.html

Disputing Global Warming »

[27 Feb 2008 | No Comment | 20 views]

The last 12 months have seen global temperatures plummet. How will the ecolibs react to the news? Afterall, it’s their undebateable theory that’s crumbling, not ours.
