I recently read a comment on the Internet from a global warming activist that presented that exact same connotation. If global warming turns out to be a myth, so what? The narrow-mindedness and intense focus of climate change proponents on one issue, global warming, has the potential to cause massive economic failures globally. The lack [...]

According to the article, riding mowers can emit as much smog as 34 cars. Hence, the EPA wants to reduce mower emissions by 35% and estimates the cost of the mowers will jump 18% but “those higher costs could be offset by the benefits of cleaner air.” Global warming activism toppling the economy one riding [...]

Al Gore’s best hope has turned into his worst nightmare. The economy, slowed by high oil prices and transportation costs, has turned people away from the green lifestyle in an effort to save money. So Al Gore wants the United States to use 100% clean and renewable energy in 10 years. Unlike John F. Kennedy’s call for a moon landing, Gore’s call for action is completely impractical. For starters, the environmentalists won’t let us build a nuclear plant. Nuclear is clean and safe but after decades of scare tactics [...]

Having read an article by Dr. Tim Ball recently, I began to wonder when the real tipping point in global warming will come. With Al Gore and James Hansen warning of dire consequences if we don’t convert to a carbonless society soon, one can only wonder if there’s truly a target date of destruction or [...]

Despite the Bush Administration’s refusal to allow for government regulation of greenhouse gas emissions, Senator James Inhofe feels the EPA is too powerful and could put regulations in effect that could kill the economy. Democrat Barbara Boxer said the Bush Administration’s desire to not regulate greenhouse gas emissions presents a “clear and present danger to [...]
