Most of you that are skeptical of global warming see the explicit lifestyle choices being forced in your personal lives from new compact fluorescent light bulbs that contain mercury (and cost much more) to expensive gasoline that can be traced back to lack of action by environmentalists and the Democrats who love them. But did [...]

(Hat tip to Paul). Earlier today I covered a Telegraph article describing some exciting new technology that allows for carbon dioxide to be extracted from the atmosphere. It’s a potential win-win for those of us who want to continue to drive our gasoline-powered automobiles as well as for the environmentalists that see carbon dioxide as [...]

Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick signed into law today legislation to drop all state taxes on cellulosic biofuels. The plan, which also requires heating oil and diesel to be 2% biofuel by 2010, would provide incentives to industries that produce cellulosic ethanol. The problem is, according to this Cato Institute article, that there is no cellulosic [...]

It seems the committee that’s putting together the Democratic National Convention hasn’t been paying federal and state gas tax for the last four months while in Denver. While the committee is a non-profit organization, non-profits aren’t exempt from paying those taxes. It’s funny how speculation really does drive the price of oil skyward. Having failed to convert the masses to green technologies, I’m sure the environmentalists are pulling their hair out over the second largest dollar value drop in oil today after President Bush ended a ban on offshore drilling. Hi everyone, and welcome to the global warming hoax week-in-review.

It seems the revenue-neutral carbon tax proposed by Stephane Dion isn’t really all that revenue-neutral to those paying the tax. The excise taxes that are being reduced in lieu of the carbon tax are only effectively dropping the tax rates for each bracket less than two percent, or a savings of about $600 per year. [...]

Hi everyone, and welcome to the global warming hoax week-in-review.
Monday, June 16th:
While Canada and the United States continue to push for more government regulation over carbon emissions, the socialist country China is doing the right thing: nothing. The Chinese government refuses to bow to the global warming activists and is refusing to implement greenhouse gas [...]

The Democrats are going to push the government to take ownership of, and control, refineries in the United States in an effort to better control the flow of oil. That’s right! The government thinks they can do a better job of managing something when compared to private enterprise. To put this in perspective, Social Security [...]

With gasoline at or above $4.00 per gallon, the President is calling for a lift on the offshore drilling ban to ease prices at the pump. As more Americans become weary of high fuel costs, their inclination to save the planet could take a back seat to lower [...]
