(H/T:  Heliogenic Climate Change).  Not one to be bothered with questions about the connection between the sun and Earth’s recent global cooling, NASA issues a press release last week insisting the longer-than-expected solar minimum is normal based on historical observations.  But they still don’t get the sun-planet-cooling connection, or just refuse to admit it.

A new report issued earlier this month by the Space and Science Research Center says that we have turned the corner on global warming and entering a new phase of global cooling, which may bring many ill effects to the inhabitants of this world.  The SSRC performs many of their climate change research projects based on solar trends, and they feel the lack of solar activity has, and will, contribute heavily to our cooling planet.  The group also mentions that this will be the best time for human space exploration …

Hi everyone and welcome to the week-that-was in global warming hoax news!  I hope everyone took a moment to visit or remember their father on this Father’s Day in the U.S.
Sunday, June 8th:
When you think of socialism, do images of China and the former Soviet Union come to mind?  Believe it or not, it’s slowing coming to the United States as environmentalists push for more control in government.  The recently defeated Lieberman-Warner bill debated in the U.S. Senate is one example where environmentalists are pushing their agenda for control through …

Food, Global Warming Hoax Lead Story »

As I was reading an article over at Hypisthermal’s site (Read More: hypsithermal.wordpress.com) on Kansas farmers trying to grow food in cool weather, I immediately began to ponder the possibilities of global cooling.  While my blog typically points out the lifestyle changes and tax consequences of global warming, it’s important to remember what can happen if the planet is truly on a cooling trend and what to expect from such a scenario.
Here in the United States, we have the land configuration all worked out.  The midwest is considered the breadbasket of …

Our sun is still devoid of sunspots, at a time during its cycle when it should have them. While the 20th century was a period of solar maximum, the planet hasn’t warmed since 1998 - and the sunspots have reduced in number. While global warming could increase agricultural output, a cooling world will not. It’s time to make plans now for global cooling instead of global warming.

From Watts Up With That’s website:  from the looks of that graph, provided by the University of Alabama at Huntsville, 2008 has been consistently cooler than 2007 by between 1/4 and 1/2 degree fahrenheit.  More evidence of global cooling.  Gore can blame it on La Nina, but we can blame 1998 on El Nino.

As we wait for solar cycle 24 to begin, let’s step back and look at the lack of sunspots and how it correlates to the global cooling experienced around the globe during the winter of 2007-2008. When sunspots are a minimum , cosmic rays penetrate the troposphere and ionize nitrogen and oxygen atoms, increasing water vapor that forms clouds that block out the sun and cook the planet. Finally the correlation between sunspots and the recent …

Time for another Operation Desperation update. Reuters is reporting on global warming activists’ fears that the public will stop being proactive in stopping global warming due to recent reports of a cooling Earth. The article goes on to say that people should still worry about increased floods and droughts from global warming. Sounds like Gore might have to double his initial $300 million campaign to convince us that global warming still exists.

Scientists around the globe are reacting to the prediction that global warming will stop for a decade.  Some scientists quoted in the article think that climate models are worthless.  Others feel that the planet can compensate for any man-made changes to prevent a global catastrophe.  Still others wonder how many years of global cooling it will take for Al Gore to realize his mistake and move on to other projects.

New evidence shows that there’s a possible correlation between sunspots and temperature here on Earth. The bad news for the ecolibs is that sunspots are at a minimum and there’s some serious concern about global cooling and even a small ice age.
In another blow to science, a forecast made two years ago about a significant increase in sunspots failed to materialize. I’d have so much more respect got science if it stopped trying to be the absolute …
