Today is a day to celebrate for global warming skeptics everywhere as a bill in Maryland to reduce carbon emissions failed to gather enough votes to pass. The reason for the bill’s failure was due to economic impact concerns. The bill will be shelved for the remainder of the year.

Al Gore will make a timely appearance on 60 Minutes this week to discuss global warming. Gore compares global warming skeptics to those who believe the world is flat or those who think the moon landing was a hoax and that we’re in a vast minority. With scientific evidence mounting that anthropogenic global warming is a hoax, Gore is launching a $300 million ad campaign beginning next week featuring personalities such as the Dixie Chicks, Nancy Pelosi and Newt Gingrich. Apparently when you don’t tow the Al Gore global warming line, you’re in the same league as those who defended slavery. Forced labor of African-Americans was an atrocity but I somehow miss the connection to being a global warming skeptic.

Now Australia is reporting on the 400 scientists that are skeptical of man-made global warming. Apparently the scientists’ reports debunk Al Gore’s theories on global warming as he continues to compare global warming skeptics to members of the Flat Earth Society.
