Just learned that the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, controls all the C-SPAN cameras in the House of Representatives, and all feeds have to go through those cameras to the outside world. So while the GOP is fighting a historic battle on Capital Hill to get gas prices lowered, no one can see it live because Pelosi controls the video. Nice move there, Pelosi. ... Full story

Live blogging from MichelleMalkin.com site. Pelosi is apparently trying to shut down the GOP revolt and tourists are up-in-arms and you can hear, "Vote! Vote! Vote!" in the halls. It's mass pandemonium in our nation's capital.

Democrats May Pull Global Warming Bill

After being beaten up in the Senate, Democrats are prepared to withdraw the McCain-Lieberman-Warner bill. While environmentalists are shocked the bill hasn't moved forward, the GOP has raised concerns over energy prices and the impact to the economy. But this is just a warm-up round before similar legislation passes next year.
