For those of you who aren’t familiar, the AIT index is the An Inconvenient Truth index, or a measure of global temperatures since Al Gore’s film of the same name was released on January 24, 2006. While Klockarman over at the Gore Lied site graphs the temperature data for us, I can go ahead and tell you that lower troposphere temperatures just aren’t cooperating with the global warming myth. Click on over and check out his monthly post.

Andrew Bolt of the Herald Sun has a great challenge for Al Gore: get a new poster. The poster for An Inconvenient Truth preyed on fears of intensifying hurricanes thanks to global warming. But that theory is unfounded, even if Bill Clinton and Al Gore believe it. Hurricanes are down remarkably in the last two years, even as carbon emissions continue to build in the atmosphere.

The article referenced by this post dates to October 2007, but is worthy of a look. A British truck driver didn’t want his child indoctrinated by the global warming hoax, so he sued. Long story short, the court agreed and forced the school system to add a disclaimer when An Inconvenient Truth was shown to students. Want the list of inaccuracies in Gore’s film? Follow the link:

Hit them hard and hit them young. Mary Doerr saw Gore’s fictional documentary An Inconvenient Truth at Stanford University and decided to start a group, Inconvenient Youth, to indoctrinate teens on the global warming movement. In conjunction with Disney, teens across the country will be able to hear Gore’s message across the country. Disney concerts will also carry the green message.

An opinion piece in The Harvard Crimson, the University’s daily newspaper, lambasts Gore for continuing to eat meat all while preaching the virtues of a carbon-reduced lifestyle to anyone who will listen.
While the person who shared in the win of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007, Dr Rajendra Pachauri, is a vegetarian, Gore is not. And while Gore does apparently now drive a Prius, studies find that preparing even 2.2 pounds of meat produce emissions equivalent of 80 pounds of carbon dioxide. An inconvenient truth, indeed.

Each month, the editor over at Gore Lied posts the current AIT index (that’s “An Inconvenient Truth” index), which is a fancy graph that depicts just how global temperatures have fared since the release of Al Gore’s documentary in 2006. This month, the average global temperature is down, but how has it looked in the past? Click the link to see the chart and learn more about this month’s AIT index.

Al Gore recently said tornadoes are increasing in number and intensity. According to this graph, via Watts Up With That, the number of reported tornadoes has definitely increased, most likely due to more advanced technology being able to recognize such storms. However, tornado intensity has dropped since the 1970’s. What I’d like to know is this: where does Gore get his scientific facts? Did he base this loose fact-checking on those items spewed in his An Inconvenient Truth documentary as well?

From himself, of course! Gore started Generation Investment Management LLC on November 6, 2004 and conveniently released his film, An Inconvenient Truth, back on May 24, 2006 - a film designed to scare everyone into reducing their overall carbon emissions to save the planet. Gore is the chairman of Generation Investment Management and apparently very biased with a large financial stake in carbon credits taking off.

In addition, Greenpeace vandals were acquitted this week in the U.K., but why? What did James Hansen do to make Anthony Watts call for his termination? Learn more inconvenient truths about the polar ice caps and how the greens just don’t support green technologies. Plus, my favorite global warming hottie makes a …

After Al Gore’s Oscar-winning performance in An Inconvenient Truth telling the audience that sea-level worldwide could rise 20 feet, Science magazine has come out with a report that says sea levels will rise even higher than expected - up to 200 centimeters which, according to my calculations, is about 78-odd inches or six-and-a-half feet. Or was Gore simply overstating predictions just to get us scared and into action?
