Watch where you step and keep tugging at your pants fellow skeptics. If the alarmists have their way, your leather belt and shoes will be a thing of the past. Cows are sources of methane, a greenhouse gas more potent than carbon dioxide. And for you beer enthusiasts out there, a six pack will run you seven pounds of carbon. Will that be cash or charge?

Disputing Global Warming »

[9 Oct 2008 | No Comment | 56 views]

After his January 2005 claims that global warming is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people, Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) again defended his claim during a debate Tuesday night when he declared the following:
I think I was right on that, and I do believe — first off, let’s keep in mind, though, what the issue is. It’s not whether or not we’re going into a global warming period. We were. We’re not now.
You know, God’s still up there. We’re now going through a cooling spell. And the whole …

Former Vice President Al Gore, unconcerned with massive media reports that methane, a gas 20-25 times more potent as a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide, is a factor in global warming, continues to eat meat even when scientists continue to blame livestock as a major source of emissions.  Watch the 10-minute Glenn Beck video below to get a perspective on how many of those who support the theory of global warming - McCain, Hillary, Gore - all seen in pictures, simply won’t modify one of the most basic elements of …

According to this post over at MaxRedline, termites produce more harmful methane than livestock. With the global warming alarmists’ concerns over methane bubbles rising from the melting polar caps and the gas being released from livestock, where is the outrage over the little insect that devours wood and passes more gas than my Uncle Joe? Also in the post, kangaroo meat is the most environmentally-friendly as roos pass less methane gas than the rest of the livestock on the planet.

A Russian research ship in the Arctic has discovered methane bubbles rising from the sea floor which, if you listen to anyone in on the global warming hoax, is certain doom.  I believe the scientists quoted in this article call it a “ticking time bomb”.  However, the article does go on to mention it’s thought that “huge methane releases may have been responsible for mass extinctions in Earth’s distant past.” Were those historical methane releases from the ocean floor, too?  If so, can you explain how temperatures were high enough …

A new study out of Ohio State University suggests that river floods and storms that send water flowing into marshes and wetlands may help reduce overall greenhouse gas emissions in those areas. Methane levels were about twice as high in areas with slow, steady water when compared with areas that had gushing water added to the system.

Argentina, one of the world’s largest producers of beef, is working with scientists to change the input to affect the output, so-to-speak. Cows in that country may be fed alfalfa and clover instead of the typical grain in an effort to reduce the methane created from their digestive process. Cows produce between 800 and 1,000 liters of emissions per day. Wonder how the beef will taste from alfalfa and clover-fed cows?

They’re starving back in China, so finish what you got, or so said John Lennon many years ago. Today, Lennon may have reworked those lyrics to tell us we’re causing global warming, so finish what you got. We’ll never know, but a study found that Americans waste approximately 27% of food and all but 2% goes in landfills which releases methane gas as it decomposes. So be fat and happy, my friends. Finish everything …

Carbon Tax, Global Warming Hoax Lead Story »

[5 Aug 2008 | No Comment | 142 views]

Most of you that are skeptical of global warming see the explicit lifestyle choices being forced in your personal lives from new compact fluorescent light bulbs that contain mercury (and cost much more) to expensive gasoline that can be traced back to lack of action by environmentalists and the Democrats who love them.  But did you realize there’s a more sinister plan in the works?  It’s already being discussed in Britain and could make its way to the United States quickly if the global warming activists have their way.  It’s …

With all the recent concern over methane gas emitting from bovine burps, an interesting question has been posed by the team over at NewsBusters:  will we be required to buy carbon credits to offset natural bovine emissions whenever we eat meat?  While I don’t think a plan like this is eminent, it sure demonstrates a level to which the environmentalists would stoop to drive their point home.
