Two days ago I reported on published October temperature data from NASA that was a simple copy-and-paste job from September. Looks like the fellows over at NASA have corrected their GISTEMP data and have brought their site back online.

This is a real piece of work. The Argo buoys were showing that the planet’s oceans cooled, so the data was mixed in with other data and PRESTO! The planet’s oceans haven’t cooled at all. Link to the blog article below but you can also read Jennifer Marohasy’s original article here.

Surprise, surprise!  After a little research by Anthony Watts, it appears as though some October surface temperature data was conveniently copied directly from the previous month by James Hansen and his global warming patrol over at NASA.  This is a very interesting read and makes you wonder how, if true, such data manipulation could take place.

Meterologist Art Horn is accusing NASA’s James Hansen of manipulating global temperature data. Hansen, a global warming activist, is accused of making pre-1970 temperatures lower than actual observed readings to make temperature increases after 1970 seem more prominent.
