Live Earth »

From the article:
During last July’s Live Earth concerts held simultaneously in New York, London, Sydney, Tokyo, Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro, Johannesburg and Hamburg, Al Gore tried to harness the promotional power of environmentally inclined rock stars like Madonna, The Police and the Red Hot Chili Peppers to raise global awareness of “a climate in crisis”. But some wags dubbed the concert “private jets for climate change”, referring to the rockstar lifestyle, and the concerts themselves produced 35,000 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
Way to go, Al. Your “awareness” campaign …

Global Warming Hoax Lead Story, Mainstream Media »

[20 May 2008 | No Comment | 315 views]

I set out on a journey to see if the mainstream press takes an active role in shoving the skeptical view of the global warming hoax under the rug. Using Google News, some search algorithms and a few hours of my time, I came up with a rather interesting revelation.
My first task was quite simple: narrow down news articles from Google News from various mainstream media sites that have corresponding print newspapers. I chose to search for “global warming” on all of the major print news outlets …

Polar Bears »

In more bad news for global warming activists everywhere, the polar bear population has increased 40% since 1974 and are in no threat of extinction as many on the environmental left would have you believe, according to the New York Post. Hurricanes are already off the list of global warming images. Can polar bears now be removed as well?

Friends of the Earth Action, an environmental group, has officially endorsed Barack Hussein Obama because of his stance on the gas tax holiday. While both Senators Hillary Clinton (D., New York) and John McCain (R., Arizona) both support a temporary reprieve on the federal gas tax, Obama doesn’t agree. His solution to fight high fuel prices? Keep the gas tax in place to make transportation more affordable. Yes, you read that right. Higher …

The Heritage Foundation writes an interesting tongue-in-cheek article today comparing the difference between Al Gore and the scientists of the world. In Gore’s film An Inconvenient Truth, he states that the debate over global warming is over and a consensus has been reached. Inconveniently for the former Vice President, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, the Christian Science Monitor and the New York Times have all published recent articles that tell us that the debate is not over and that the science is still out on global …

The New York Times has taken a reporting stance against the methods used to curb carbon emissions, stating that the world’s economies can’t expand and at the same time cut carbon emissions. For a typically left-leaning newspaper, I’m proud of the Times for reporting on what I have Bern saying all along: cut emissions, cause a recession.

During Dr. Hayden’s recent visit to New York, he saw billboards foretelling the doom and gloom of global warming. The cost of this propaganda? $700,000. There are some deep pockets involved with the global warming crowd and they are spending that cash to convince you of the hoax. Think of it as an up-front investment for long-term rewards in the form of tax revenue.

Animal Population, Mainstream Media »

[26 Mar 2008 | No Comment | 9 views]

The New York Times has retracted a story claiming frogs were dying off in droves thanks to global warming. How many other plant and animal species are or will be afflicted by this human-caused global phenomenon before it’s discovered that they, too, aren’t affected by climate change at all?
