Al Gore, Global Warming Hoax Lead Story »
Al Gore had an editorial piece printed in the New York times today. It’s full of typical environmentalist talking points but only half of the truth is provided. Follow along as I share my comments (in bold) under each of Gore’s paragraphs (in italics) so help break down the truth from the hyperbole. While I’ll only excerpt parts of the opinion piece, the entire op-ed can be read by following the link at the bottom of this post.
[W]e…must make…an emergency rescue of human civilization from the imminent and rapidly growing …
Week-In-Review »
Time once again for this week’s edition of the Daily Bayonet’s Global Warming Hoax Week-in-Review. This week’s version promises to be one of the best yet. Here’s a preview of what you’ll read:
Now that the global warming hoaxers have charged deniers with being funded by big oil, Canada’s own David Suzuki is claiming anti-wind folks are funded by big nuclear.
Warming zealots around the world are celebrating the Obama win this week in the U.S. But I thought global warming was about science and not politics?
Censorship …

Alan Caruba has a fantastic article here on the Western Front America blog that goes in-depth on the history behind nuclear energy and renewed calls for its use. A recent poll found that 74% of Americans now approve of the use of nuclear energy, which is a record high. At a time when environmentalists everywhere are calling on the use of clean energy, nuclear power is not an option they want to discuss. Back in June, I wrote an article on the climate of fear, which discusses the reasons behind …

Let’s see how long it takes for environmentalists to shoot this one down, no pun intended. A renewed interest in developing nuclear-power airplanes is taking place. Such an aircraft would allow for many more non-stop flights and zero carbon emissions from the plane itself. A study into the feasibility of these types of airplanes (specifically, bombers) was conducted in the 1950’s but abandoned in the 1960’s as the development of ballistic missiles made the idea impractical.

Former New Jersey governor and federal environmental chief Christine Todd Whitman is calling for an increase in nuclear energy in the United States saying, “…if you care about climate change and you care about air quality, nuclear power is really the only form of base power that doesn’t produce some of the regulated emissions and doesn’t contribute to global climate change.” Good point. However, those pushing the global warming hoax don’t see things as Ms. Whitman does. I wrote an article back in June on the climate …

With many conservatives excited by Senator John McCain’s pick of Governor Sarah Palin for his Vice Presidential running mate for the GOP platform because she appears to be a Washington outsider with true conservative roots, many are in horror of McCain’s stance on global warming.
Speaking with Reuters, John McCain remarked that he would tap ex-veep Al Gore on issues related to climate change, even though he disagrees with Gore on his nuclear energy stance. McCain said that he has great respect for Gore. Suddenly the slam-dunk vote for McCain because …

My favorite, of course is number three: the global warming myth. Carbon trading schemes initiated in 2005 and implemented this year caused unexpected and significant spikes in fuel prices. Some of the other items I’ve touched on before. Lack of nuclear energy, push back on coal plants and lack of refineries. Good list.

Global Warming Hoax Lead Story, Lifestyle »
After having read an article over at THBarb yesterday, I was inspired by a line or two there that made sense to me. The decisions around anthropogenic global warming have been made for us.
With many other social factors - and that’s what global warming is, folks, a social factor - liberals have demanded that humans have a choice. The people chose a Democrat-controlled Congress in 2006, and liberals were elated, although their approval rating plunged to nine percent most recently. The people are going to choose a Democrat President later …
Global Warming Hoax Lead Story, Sarah Palin »
Having watched Sarah Palin’s speech tonight during the broadcast of the Republican National Convention, she certainly seems like a go-getter and a bulldog. From budget reform in Alaska to gas tax revenue refunds for taxpayers, it seems a nod for Palin is a good choice for America. What struck me most during her nearly 45-minute speech, however, was a quick sentence or two that jabbed at leaders like Al Gore and Nancy Pelosi. Palin said that she wants to drill in Alaska, but she wants to use all the resources …
